HISTORY

  • In 1982,  President and Founder, Marie Anderson created invitations, graphics, centerpieces, decor and planned events as a consultant for United Way and the Arthritis Foundation.
  • Marie's background included entertainment and commercial art.
  • The first prop that Fandango® built was a pair of pink flamingos, inspiring the "party flamingo" logo.
  • By 1989 Fandango® had its first Fortune 500 client.
  • Fandango moved to its current industrial location in 1991, and has expanded twice.
  • Fandango® became a California Partnership in 1995.
  • Fandango® was officially registered as a US trademark in 1996.
  • Fandango® became a California Corporation in 2002. 
  • Fandango® has grown to include offices, a 20000 sq. ft. warehouse, full-time employees, a fleet of trucks, and a list of clients ranging from the Fortune 500 to the Entertainment Industry.   
  • A division of Fandango®,   Standzall® Display Systems, manufactures the Standzall® display system for Special Events Professionals
  • In 2003, Fandango® launched its line of three-dimensional props for sale to Special Event Professionals.
